In haar eerste jaar heeft de uit het zuiden afkomstige band T-Men & Miss Ella aangetoond een toegevoegde waarde te zijn in het Nederlandse swing- en rock & rollcircuit.

Het doorleefde zanggeluid van Miss Ella, gecombineerd met samenzang en swingende stand up drums, stand up bass en gitaar zorgen voor een unieke sound. Doordat T-Men Arno ook diverse nummers solo zingt, staat de band garant voor voldoende variatie.

De jump and swing en de sfeer uit de jaren 50 vormt het uitgangspunt bij de keuze van de nummers, met songs van Ruth Brown, Louis Jordan, Wynona Carr, Joe Turner, Etta James en Roy Brown. Naast songs uit dit decennium, worden ook nummers gespeeld uit een latere periode, maar met de swing en sfeer uit de fifties. Ook wordt ruimte gemaakt voor eigen nummers.

Kleding uit de fifties en “vintage”-instrumenten maken het plaatje compleet.

Reacties van fans uit zowel Nederland, België als Duitsland tonen aan, dat de band zorgt voor een sfeer die uitnodigt tot dansen en dat is wat T-Men & Miss Ella nastreeft.

In their first year T-Men & Miss Ella, who come from the southern part of Holland, proved to be a very welcome addition to the Dutch swing and rock & roll scene.

The unique sound is formed by the quality voice of Miss Ella in combination with harmony singing and the swinging stand up drums, bass and guitar.
Because of the solo singing by T-Men drummer Arno, the band stands guarantee for variation.

The jump and swing atmosphere from the fifties form the base when it comes to the choice of songs, with music from Ruth Brown, Louis Jordan, Wynona Carr, Joe Turner, Etta James and Roy Brown.
Music from a later period will be heard as well, including their own songs and all will be in the swinging style of the fifties.
